Station 1 of 5

Satellite data

Copernicus CAMS atmospheric products, built on Meteosat and Sentinel observations, track dust, cloud and irradiance over each of the seven mainland zones. Public European data, archived exactly as issued.

CurtailCast is under development; no forecast runs yet. The numbers in the scenes (78%, 21:00) come from the illustrative examples on this site, not from live issues.

The zones

Seven zones, two technologies, one risk tier each.

Hover or tap a zone to see the sample values: score, risk tier, maximum probability and the window of hours.

In practice

A day with CurtailCast.

Four steps, from the evening email to the next day's result. An illustrative scenario.

  1. 21:00 Forecast

You get tomorrow's forecast: 82% curtailment probability, 12:00-15:00, your zone.

  2. Morning Plan

You schedule panel cleaning and inverter checks inside the curtailment window.

  3. 12:00-15:00 Curtailment event

Grid curtails your zone. Your maintenance is done during hours you couldn't sell anyway.

  4. Evening Result

You sold the remaining hours at full price. Zero productive hours lost.
